The Telugu actor Jaya Prakash Reddy who was famous for his work as a comedian and his villainous role died on September 8. He was 74. He died in Andhra Pradesh. Mr Reddy had a massive stroke in the morning, which caused his death. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar paid his tribute

N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, expressed his sadness on the demise of Reddy. He mentioned that Reddy would be an inspiration to many. He also said Mr Reddy was a gem to Telugu cinema and theatre.

Sudheer Babu confirmed the news. He took his tweeter handle to wrote  “Woke up to terrible news. Rest in peace, sir. #JayaprakashReddy”.

Nagarjuna, who shared screen space with Mr Reddy in several films like Manmadhudu, King, and many more movies tweeted: “He was a fine gentleman, Mr Jaya Prakash Reddy Garu… My condolences to his family and may his soul rest in peace.”

Venkatesh Daggubati, who co-starred with the late actor in several films like Ganesh, Tulasi and Brahma Puthrudu took his tweeter to post about Jaya Prakash Reddy. He tweeted “I am extremely sad to hear about the sudden demise of my dear friend, Jaya Prakash Reddy Garu. We were such a great combination of onscreen. Will definitely miss him. RIP. Praying for his family and loved ones,”
