After a series of rumors and leaks surfacing on the Web Xiaomi has officially launched Redmi K30S in China. The Redmi K30S is a rebadged model of the Mi 10T. It was launched in China late last month and introduced in India a couple of weeks back. Its main highlight is a 144Hz display screen and its Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC processor. The Redmi K30S features a triple rear camera setup. The price of Redmi K30S in China is around CNY 2,599 which equals Rs. 28,600 in India for the 128GB storage variant. While its 256GB storage option is priced at CNY 2,799 roughly around Rs. 31,000.
There is also an introductory discount worth CNY 300 that is Rs. 3,300 that brings down the price of the device to CNY 2,299 calculated around Rs. 25,300.
Redmi K30S Other Salient Features
The Redmi K30S supports dual Nano-SIM. The handset runs on MIUI 12 completely based on Android 10. It has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display that has up to 144Hz refresh rate. It also contains a peak brightness of 650 nits, and 1,080×2,400 pixels resolution. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the top. From inside, the phone is power-packed with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC processor paired with 8GB of RAM. In terms of optics, the phone comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX682 sensor that is paired with a secondary sensor of 13-megapixel. It also comes with a 123-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro shooter of 2-megapixel. The phone also has a 20-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.
The Redmi K30S offers 128GB and 256GB of internal storage options. Connectivity options are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
