The construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya is going to start from June 10. The temple trust said that they are going to start laying down bricks from Wednesday.
During the event on June 10, priests are going to offer prayers to Lord Shiva at the Kuber Tila shrine in Ram Janmabhoomi. The Supreme Court, through its historical decision, allocated the Ram Janmabhoomi site to the temple. Further, the Supreme Court passed its verdict last year in November.
The ceremony will also include the Rudrabhishak ritual. Lord Ram started the tradition of this ritual. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust said that Lord Ram prayed Shiva before beginning the attack on Lanka.
The Temple trust is going to lay down the foundation of the temple after the special prayers. The priests on behalf of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das are going to start the rituals at 8 AM.
Kamal Nayan Das said that the religious ceremony would take place for the first two hours. And, after the rituals, the temple trust is going to start the construction of the temple.
The temple trust has moved the Ram Lalla deity to the site from the makeshift temple. Also, the trust moved the deity ceremoniously. Further, they deployed the earth levelling machinery on the site on May 11.
The 16th Century Babri mosque which was standing on the site was demolished in the year 1992. The Kar Sevaks demolished the mosque claiming that there was a Ram Temple at the spot. The Supreme Court, through its decision, directed to allocate 5-Acre land in Ayodhya. However, a separate trial is pending in a special court in Lucknow regarding the demolition of Babri Mosque.
