Oppo revealed the first smart TV models it includes Oppo Smart TV S1 and Smart TV R1. Oppo Smart TV S1 is a premium model. It comes with a 120Hz display and floating design, and also has a pop-up camera for video chats. On the other hand, Oppo Smart TV R1 comes in for consumers looking for a more standard option. It comes in 55-inch as well as 65-inch screen sizes. The price of Oppo Smart TV S1 is CNY 7,999 in China which is roughly around Rs. 87,800. The Oppo Smart TV R1 is priced at CNY 3,299 which is roughly Rs. 36,200 for the 55-inch variant and CNY 4,299 which is estimated around Rs. 47,200 for the 65-inch model. TVs are currently available for purchase in China. There are yet no official details about the launch in global markets.
Oppo’s Latest Smart TV’s Features
The Oppo Smart TV S1 has a 65-inch 4K QLED Quantum Dot display with a 120 percent ultra-wide NTSC color gamut, peak brightness of 1,500 nits, and 3,840×2,160 pixels resolution. The display also carries a refresh rate of 120Hz and is TUV Rheinland certified as well as supports Dolby Vision. From inside, the TV comes with a quad-core MediaTek MT9950 SoC, coupled along with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU and 8.5GB of RAM. Unlike Smart TV S1 has a lone 65-inch screen size, the Oppo Smart TV R1 comes in two screen options: 55 and 65-inch screen options that both have a 4K LCD with a 93 percent DCI-P3 color gamut, 60Hz refresh rate, and 3,840×2,160 pixels resolution. The 55-inch model provides a 250 nits peak brightness, while the 65-inch version provides 300 nits of peak brightness.
The TV is power-packed with a quad-core MediaTek MT9652 SoC, paired with MediaTek MT9652 SoC, paired along with Mali-G52 MC1 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
