Nila’s husband Matt said that they spent 22 years together. He announced her death to dedicate her as “my beautiful Nila, doting mother to our two beautiful girls”.
Matt said, “Nila devoted her career to making life better for others and was one year into a Masters’s Degree for leaders in fundraising. I’ve no doubt Nila would have made great use of this qualification and cemented her glittering career at the highest level”.
For Nila’s honor, her husband Matt created a fundraising campaign on JustGiving to benefit Nila’s favorite organization WWF. He achieved his goal of £1,000 and now the total is £9,000.

Who is Nila James?
She was appointed Director of Fundraising at Calibre Audio, during the first COVID-19 shutdown in 2020 which is the only national charity in the UK that provides a completely free audiobook service to people with a print handicap.
Previously, she worked for two animal charities and she was interested in animal welfare. Become Head of High-Value Partnerships at the Animal Health Trust, she left the British Veterinary Association. She worked with many fundraising committees like the Newmarket Charity Race Day, the London Equestrian Awards, and several royal patron events.
