Ethan Hawke (Gattaca, training day) is in fine form as cult leader Dr. Arthur Harrow, sworn enemy of Moon Knight and sidekick to the Egyptian Devourer of the Dead, Ammit. Moon Knight Episode 5 trailer

There is no official Episode 5 teaser from Marvel Entertainment. But there have been sightings of the latest TV spots, with snippets of footage of Marc Spector first transforming into the fist of Khonshu at the foot of the moon god statue and two figures clashing in front of a full moon brilliant. Check out the exploits in the video below.

The plot of the moon knight episode 5

No official description of Episode 5 has been released. However, we can assume with reasonable accuracy that this episode will clarify the nature of Marc/Steven’s nightmarish experience trapped in the mental hospital. We will no doubt watch as he escapes and reconciles his myriad realities, likely with guidance from Taweret.

The prison he’s held captive in appears to be a self-constructed kingdom that may recall Marc Spector’s previous life as a mercenary and his original encounter with Khonshu that turned him into the Moon Knight.

With only one episode left after this chapter, the setup should provide answers to the doomed mission that had Layla’s father murdered and set the stage for the final showdown between Marc/Steven and Harrow.

Oh, and don’t forget that Layla El-Faouly, potentially a variant of Marvel Comics’ Layla Miller mutant character House of M, has resurrection powers. Then there’s the issue of freeing Khonshu from his statuette to possibly fight a resurrected Ammit. It’s going to be two busy weeks!

Will there be a Moon Knight Season 2?

Disney+ and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige has so far remained silent on the second season of Moon Knight. Generally, positive reviews and a good number of viewers could induce a second season, or maybe moon knight was always meant to be unique. We’ll just have to wait and see.
