A man from Sidhi replaced the photo of Mahatma Gandhi with the picture of Nathuram Godse. The alleged man was a member of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). Also, he posted a photo of this note on Social Media. Further, he replaced the image of Mahatma Gandhi with his assassin Nathuran Godse.
The incident of replacing the photo came out after the statement of the Police that no case could be about in this case. The accuse absconded after the independence, and the Police are trying to trace him, said SM Patel. SM Patel is the in-charge of the Sidhi Police Station. There is no case in this incident, he further added. After the accused shared the post on Facebook, the Police registered a lawsuit against the accused on May 26.
Subsequently, Police registered the case against the accused under Section 153-A of the Indian Penal Code. Promoting enmity between different groups on various grounds and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony is an offense under Section 153-A of the Indian Penal Code.

He also modified the famous Couplet, which Mahatma Gandhi used to pronounce it several times. Also, he wrote ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, desh bacha Gaye Nathuram.’ The meaning of the modified version of the Couplet is that Nathuran Godse had saved the Nation.
The Student wing of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) had complained Police regarding these incidents. On May 20, the Student wing of NSUI demanded Police that the case should be registered against this person. The NSUI students alleged Mr. Shukla for this incident, who is also a student leader of ABVP. Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has affiliations with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. The case of sedition was registered against him.
