Bollywood ‘Queen’ has always been in the limelight for her controversial statements. Once again she made the headline by getting y+ security. Ranaut has given y+ protection by the Union Minister of Home Affairs.
The decision came when the actress compared Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir. She also criticised the Mumbai police. The politician Raut hit her back in the paries mouthpiece Saamana and asked her not to return Mumbai.
Y+ security is provided to those individuals based on threat assessment done by central security agencies and is subject to periodic review. High-risk individuals are provided with security by the police and local government.
Kangana Ranaut provided with such security because of life risk threats. The threats are from the side of the Shiv Sana supporters. She got into this situation when she said that she fears the Mumbai police more than the movie mafia. The actress gave such statements while she was criticising the Mumbai police over Rajput’s death investigation.
Raut quickly replied on her statement and asked her not to return to Mumbai. He further added that it is an insult to the Mumbai police and Home minister should take immediate action.
The word fight reached an extreme level where Raut ended by saying slurs against the actress. Kangana Ranaut didn’t sit quit by soon upload her video on social media addressing Raut as ‘anti-women’. She also told him that he is not Maharashtra.
The Centre’s move to provide Y-plus level security to the actress comes after she announced her arrival to Mumbai on September 9. She also said that she will also post the time when she lands at the airport.
