An American citizen and mother of two daughters, Debra Jeter, is said to have departed on 14th January 2021 in Georgia state of America. Debra, infamous for assaulting and killing her two daughters, was sentenced to life imprisonment without hope for parole.
She was 58 years old at the time of her death. The state government did not release any official notice of her death. Hence the reason for her death remains undisclosed. Her funeral services are scheduled on 18th January 2021.
How did Debra Jeter die?
Despite of lack of information, many people claimed that Debra was murdered. She has tried to kill herself in the past a few times. This also makes it possible for her to commit suicide. Before killing her children, she attempted suicide on Mother’s Day 2009. She took this step because of the idea of losing her husband and kids due to ongoing divorce procedures. At that time, she was 41 years old.
Who was Debra Jeter?
Debra Jeter was born in the state of Texas on 20th November 1962. She became an American citizen after completing her formal education in Texas. Details of her parents are not known. She was later married to Lee Jeter and had two daughters.
In June 2009, police received a call on 911 from Debra stating she had murdered her two kids. After a shocking discovery, her older daughter Kiersten Jeter was found unconscious in the house. At the time, she was 13 years old.
On the other hand, Debra’s Younger Daughter, Kelsey, was found dead. The cause of the 12-year-old’s death was severe wounds from a knife. Her older daughter, Kiersten Jeter, survived and recovered from the incident after many surgeries. She is around 24 years old and has distanced herself from social media interactions.
Aftermath of Incident:
Debra became infamous for her crimes and received a prison sentence as she was found guilty of murdering Kelsey Jeter and attempting to murder Kiersten Jeter. He narrowly escaped the death sentence in the case.
