Gyanvapi Masjid News Live Update: Following the Hindu side’s acquisition of the Shivling, the Hindu side arrived at the district court, which is where it is said to have been kept. The Banaras court has now ordered that the area where the Shivling was found be sealed. An Uttar Pradesh court ordered the sealing of the pond in Gyanvapi Masjid grounds, where the “Shivling” was found, in the Gyanvapi Masjid survey case.

For which a small pond has been constructed, and there has been some talk about having a Shivling placed in this pond. After obtaining the Shivling, the Hindu side presented it to the district court, where it has apparently been preserved.

It has been ordered by the Banaras court that the area where the Shivling was found should be sealed, and the court has given the order to the Varanasi district administration. People are not allowed to move towards the site where the Shivling is found because of a court order. He said we lodged an objection only yesterday, we wanted the water to dry up for eating vaju, according to Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi, the Hindu petitioner’s lawyer. As of today, we have seen, with our own eyes, that there is a Shivling and we have not caused any disrespect by speaking this out or going to court, in fact, we have even demanded in court that this pond be sealed.

There was a suspicion that tampering was taking place. As far as we are concerned, what we did was done through the courts and the Muslim side is free to go to court if they so desire. According to News, Muslim lawyer Alok Nath Yadav said: “I have yet to see the copy of the order. We will appeal the decision to seal the pond. We will take all legal measures.” 

Currently, the survey for Day Three of Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri Masjid has been completed. The survey report will be submitted tomorrow to the court. A lawyer who represents Hindu women in the Benaras Court maintains that a Shivling has been discovered in a pond inside the mosque premises. Advocate Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi stated, “The pond was used for purification.” At the same time, this area has been ordered to be sealed.

Tomorrow will be heard in the Supreme Court

On the other hand, the Supreme Court will hear tomorrow the petition filed by the Masjid Committee against the survey in Gyanvapi Masjid. Justices DY Chandrachud and PS Narasimha will preside over the hearing. As part of the Gyanvapi dispute, the petitioner Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee is demanding that the survey in Gyanvapi be halted.
