Gionee recently launched Gionee F8 Neo in India as a budget smartphone. The pre-installed Face Unlock, Slow Motion, Beauty mode, and Night mode are the key features of the phone which can attract young buyers. The Gionee F8 Neo features various gesture support to enable a smarter experience for feature phone users. The phone is available in three different color options. The options include Black, Blue, and Red color. The price of lone 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant is set at Rs 5,499. It will go on sale via two lakh mobile retailers that are a part of the local retail network Udaan.
The Gionee F8 Neo supports dual Nano-SIM. It runs on Android 10. It has a 5.45-inch HD+ display that has an 18:9 aspect ratio with 720×1,440 pixels resolution. Inside, there houses an octa-core Unisoc formerly Spreadtrum SC9863 SoC paired along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone features an 8-megapixel camera sensor at the back along with an LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the front paired with an LED flash for selfies and video calls. The Gionee F8 Neo has 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. Connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The phone also features a unique Gem Edge Design at the back to provide an attractive look and feel. However, the fingerprint sensor is missing from the phone but the face unlocks option is present to balance this missing feature. The smartphone comes with a 3,000mAh battery.
