Earlier today, Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea’s biggest car manufacturer by sales volume, has officially named its 2020 flagship SUV the Palisade. The company plans to debut its flagship SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show which would take place later this month.
The company said in a statement that the flagship SUV would derive its name from the Pacific Palisades which is a beautiful and affluent neighborhood in Southern California. The United States is one of the world most important markets when it comes to automobiles.
The Hyundai Palisade would have three rows with eight passenger seats and high-end interiors. The car would also feature advanced safety features with ample storage in the back which could be used for leisure activities.
The automaker stated that the Palisade would be introduced in the LA Auto Show on the 28th November and would be launched in the U.S market in the summer of 2019.
The company plans to launch the Hyundai Palisade in the South Korean market next month. The Hyundai Palisade would replace the Veracruz which was a top of the line large SUV and has been out of production since 2015.
