Cuba and Vietnam are one of the few communist countries in the world and its leaders are pledging to deepen their relations with each other.
On Friday, Nguyen Phu Trong, the president of Vietnam and his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel signed a trade and finance agreements.
President of Vietnam said at a news conference that the two leaders had a discussion to deepen their countries ties with each other in terms of economic and trade ties. Cuban president said that his visit would help both the countries to strengthen corporation.
Diaz-Canel is on a three-day visit to Vietnam. This visit is part of his first international tour after taking office in April. The Cuban president has already visited North Korea, China, and Russia and after Vietnam would visit Laos.
